New for 2012 the Arch EX is now lighter, wider and tougher than the previous Arch model! Inspire confidence in your ride with the ZTR Arch EX. Once again, Bead Socket Technology construction provides superior tubeless compatibility. The internal arch design lends durability and stiffness, two assets especially important for all 29er wheels. Although lightweight, the Arch EX can handle almost any type of riding.
Fully tubeless compatible with the 25mm yellow tape and valve stem.

Bead Socket Technology (BST)

By eliminating the bead hook of the rim and lowering the sidewall by 2-3mm we reduce the weight of the rim.

The curve of the rim sidewall is the same shape as the bead of the tire so they fit together like a ball and socket joint. This design will help reduce the strain on the tire bead while creating a tighter seal.

By lowering the sidewall of the rim we also reduce the mechanical leverage the tire has on the rim. This will make the rim stiffer and last longer by eliminating flexing that can cause cracking.
Yellow Spoke Tape

The ZTR Arch EX, like our other rims is fully compatible with the yellow tape and valve method for tubeless use.

The ZTR Arch EX is designed such that standard tyres will inflate easy on this rim when set up tubeless. Some tyres will mount with a little more difficulty but keep the beads centered in the rim cavity and refer to this video for further detail.

UST and Tubeless ready tyres may be difficult to mount on this rim.

Please Note - ZTR Arch EX rims require purchase of the ZTR valve stem (NTAS0019) and 25mm yellow rim sealing tape (NTAS0033).
