WHEEL BUILD NOTES - Stan’s NoTubes ZTR Crest

The Crest wheelset is designed for lighter-weight cross-country riders looking for a light, responsive wheelset for training and racing.

The spoke and nipple choice we used give this wheelset a very light weight which is perfect for XC use. The Crest rim can be built up for use on All Mountain or Trail bikes, but not with this combination of spokes and nipples.

This wheelset is recommended for riders up to 75kg who ride cross-country and keep their wheels on the ground most of the time. Heavier riders or those looking for a more trail-oriented wheelset will be better suited on the Arch wheel set’s increase in lateral stiffness.

 

WHEEL BUILD SPECIFICATIONS
Complete tubeless wheelset weight of 1435 grams (including tape and valves)

Rim: ZTR Crest, black anodized, 32 hole
Spokes: DT Revolution 2.0/1.5/2.0 Black (front, disc side rear), DT Competition 2.0/1.8/2.0 Black (drive side rear)
Nipples: DT Silver Alloy
Front hub: Stan's NoTubes ZTR front (15mm QR adaptors available)
Rear hub: Stan's NoTubes ZTR rear (12x142mm or 10x135mm adaptors available)
Lacing: 3 cross
Includes standard steel quick release

The following options are available to customise your Stan's wheelset.  Please allow 5 business days for delivery.

Hub substitutions:
Stan's ZH03 HD Front hub with 20mm axle (upgrade available for Crest and Arch wheel sets)
Stan's ZH18 Single Speed Rear hub, with DT Revolution 2.0/1.5/2.0mm drive side rear spoke upgrade
Stan's ZH19 3.30HD 12x135mm Rear Disc Hub, convertible to 12x142mm or 10x135mm
Stan's 3.30 Ti front and rear hubs (upgrade available for Crest and Arch wheel sets)

Colour options:

Coloured Spoke Nipples - Red, Blue, Black, Green, Gold available
